Framerate and Crash issue help For those who have these serious framerate and crash problems, here's something that helped me a lot: Log out of your GameCenter account before starting. Before I did this, I had the same problems: the game was unstable and extremely laggy. The game center login process in the background slows the game down VERY MUCH. Now it runs absolutely super-smooth without any lagging ( iPod Touch 4, iOS 6 ), and there are also no crashes except the ones of my taxi when hitting a wall or a car Fantastic game, btw.
It looks like this game won't be released in the Singapore store for some unknown reason. Suffice to say I'm pissed. I was ready to buy this game but no, I can't! What do you want me to do, resort to underhand methods?
Trautman, kaB00M check this out... http://twitter.com/SEGA_Apps/status/256065828192133120 http://twitter.com/SEGA_Apps/status/256179935050350592 I found these tweets just now. Seems like they will be releasing in Japan later on.
Runs great on my iPad 2, but how do you crazy dash and limit cut in this version? The pedals and gear shift are combined into a single pair of buttons, so the usual tricks don't apply.
Nope. Can't find a toggle in the settings. I guess the only thing I could do is turn off vibration at the phone level (which sucks because I have to remember to turn it back on at work).
It's a solid port with everything you expect from the original console release, but what impressed me the most are the touch controls, they just feel right from start, they even managed to recreate the taxi boost by pressing twice the D or R buttons!
There are some options missing from the DC port. Mainly the option to reduce traffic and increase the time you start with in Arcade mode from the basic 50 seconds.
Game Impressions Now THIS is how you port a game onto the iOS (eh hem... that's right, CAPCOM)! The game looks terrific on my 4S, runs like butter and succeeded in bringing back all those memories of draining quarters at the local Arcade so many years ago. As many others have said... if this is a taste of what's to come for Jet Set Radio, we're in for a real treat! By the way - what's the difference between Arcade and Original mode?
Where? My settings screen only has a toggle for background music, volume of special effects and controls. Don't see anything for vibration.
Nope. The vibration one is not there. I'll try to post a screen print when I can. Not sure why mine wouldn't be the same.
Hmm... my iPad 2 version doesn't have a vibration toggle either (for obvious reasons) so I wonder if it thinks your phone is an ipad somehow? I'd try re-installing.
