Not supposed to be an in-depth review, but I guess you're right.

That's actually pretty nice. One sentence should go along with each section however, other than just saying generic words like "great" or "gem". Something more specific. But then that kinda turns it into a full-ish review....

Yeah I'd agree with at least one sentence to explain each, especially if you give it a low score. Thanks for sharing Sunrise! :)

    Perv, why do you care?
That's like iTune's reviews if they weren't so stupid and actually talked about the game. Good idea. Sometimes I'm on the fence and want a quick rundown to convince either way.

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
I actually like this concept. It takes me hours to write most of my reviews, so something quick like this would be great for anyone, especially like when I have a ton of homework and can't get around to a full review. A quick explanation of each thing would be great though, rather than just a quick word or phrase. Sometimes just saying something like (great) or (crappy) just doesn't get the point accross enough.

Simple yet informative. Good idea, iTunes should standardize their reviews by making us fill out a questionnaire.

    lol thanks :)
I see what you mean. Well, quickie reviews are only as good as the reviewer :p.
It's really determined by how much time a reviewer puts into the review- Eg. My demo review vs. Someone who took more than two minutes on a review. You're welcome :)
To tell the truth, that's what this thread was for :p. Thanks :)
I know what you mean
Yeah, I could've done a longer demo. Like I said, a review is only as good as the reviewer
That would be pretty neat if iTunes did that, but it should only be an option. Thanks :)

On itunes, a review like this would be fine. But on TA, I would prefer a in-depth review.

Then why click on a thread that is blatantly not what you're looking for? All you're doing is setting yourself up for disappointment. It is a good idea, sometimes you just need a quick rundown on the game to get the idea if you want it or not. If you are looking for something more in-depth, go to the game thread or the entire section dedicated to the type of review you're looking for.

Sunrise, this is a great idea. Hopefully more quickie reviews are added!

While the rest of you are too busy criticizing and/or sharing your opinions, here's one to stick to the point of the thread:

    App Name: Fruit Ninja
    Genre: Casual
    Overall Rating: 10
    Gameplay Rating: 10
    Graphics Rating: 7
    Money Value: Yes x1000
    Sound Rating: 8.5
    Addictiveness Rating: 11
    Touchscreen/Accelerometer Rating: 11:rolleyes:
Gameplay explanation: Go crazy and make virtual fruit salad to feed hundreds. Slice, dice, hack, slash (but unfortunately can't julienne) fruit to your heart's desire - easy to pick up and play, hard to put down.
    Other comments: Flawless victory.

lol thanks! This thread is actually meant for people to post their quickie reviews, not really as a showcase for something :p

    Edit:
    Finally :p

See this really does nothing for me. x1000 doesn't give me a sense of why the game is worth the cash. Rolly eyes don'y convey how addicting the game is. A one sentence explanation needs to be with each section

    App Name: Cliffed XL

Genre: I'm bad with this, not really platforming, so ill call it action.

Overall Rating: 8 Never really gets boring, lots of options to keep you engaged.

    Gameplay Rating: 10

Graphics Rating: 9 Doesn't push the system to its limits, but it is quite pleasant to look at.

Money Value: 10 For the amount of time I have put into this game I feel like the price was quite fair and possibly worth a tinge more.

Sound Rating: N/A. I can't really speak for the sound rating, it lets you listen to the music on your ipod thats playing when you open the application. So I use that.

Addictiveness Rating: 10 It has that one more time feel to it that keeps you going for that extra go

Touchscreen/Accelerometer Rating: 7 Nothing really intuitive with the touchscreen, but their controls work quite well.

Gameplay explanation: You move back and forth on ascending platforms trying to not get hit by the top of the screen. Multiple characters and stages to choose from and unlock.

Other comments: Great fun, if you have $2 to burn and want a casual game, this may be it.

See I don't exactly get what it's about. I think it sounds something like bouncedown but up.
