Well, it could have been good. Oh, on top of this, you need to refill your gas tank (LOL, it just keeps getting better, doesn't it?) which takes almost a half hour to do for free. You can fork out .99 cents to expedite the process, or go take a shower while you wait. Absolute garbage and another game ruined with crap IAP. Don't download this. Just go play Reckless Racing 2. In the editor's review tA is saying: There are crystals as well. You can buy a "cart with 14.000" for 90 EUR. Thanks. Deleted. What a waste of time. Not recommended! They are HIDDEN as good as possible. No notification in the official update descriptions as well. That's the really UGLY part of Real Racing 3. Looks good, plays good, but timers ruined it. Devs could have released a freemium version alongside the paid version. This way they've ruined the experience for those of you who bought it... SumoSplash Well-Known Member Sep 27, 2011 2,123 0 36 Playing iOS games, duh. Pennsylvania, U.S. #9 SumoSplash, Jun 27, 2013 Apple has to do something about this. An app should not be allowed to be switched from Paid to Freemium after release, ever. This kind of nonsense only exists because of digital, because it can. You'd never go purchase a manual transmission vehicle and then six months later the dealer comes to your house and installs an automatic transmission when you're asleep. Why does the customer have to be penalized and have their original purchase changed by downloading an update? I didn't buy this game, but if I had, I would request my money back. In fact, I'd request it back every single time this happened. It's bu//sh/+. Not to mention the fact that the game itself is actually good just rubs salt in this underhanded, gaping wound. Pennsylvania, U.S. #12 SumoSplash, Jun 28, 2013 Sorry to bump the thread again ladies and gentlemen, but I keep asking myself which audience this game is aiming for with this ridiculous pay model. Would anyone actually PAY to have their gas tank refilled every five races? Would someone actually PAY to expedite the wait time once your precious 500 gems run out? I'm serious; who is this geared towards? Twelve year olds who just don't care, or don't know any better? Are these developers simply trying to mimic an arcade experience in the form of digital coin slots? If that is the case, I've got news for them: I want to own my games, not rent them. Stop undercutting the customer who bought your product and then had it changed without their consent simply because they downloaded an update. Stop undercutting the people who actually want a quality title on their device who are willing to support you and pay a fair price without being solicited. Stop undercutting your own efforts and losing respect. nojviad Well-Known Member May 28, 2013 116 0 0 #13 nojviad, Jun 28, 2013 So disappointed with what these developers have done in the latest version I'm enjoying the game I bought because it's worth it, and suddenly, their greed make me feel like I'm just a fool if I continue playing their game.
