There has never been a thread on this, I checked . Personally, I think that Activision used CoD Zombies as a guinea pig to see if it would be profitable to make a full CoD for the iPhone to compete with Ubisoft (Gameloft is owned by Ubisoft for those who don't already know). Obviously (look at all that time on top of top grossing) it worked. I think that we will see a Call of Duty when the next console CoD comes out. But it will have to sell for more than 10 bucks as CoD Zombies was $10. What do you guys think?? NOTICE: I mean not a full CoD like console, like NOVA or Modern Combat sized, but a little bigger. YAY IT MIGHT HAPPEN!!!!!! http://kotaku.com/5468472/dev-eyes-call-of-duty-world-at-war-for-iphone
I don't think that a full console quality CoD game will come anytime soon. I mean, the game would be huge, it would take up so much space, plus the price would have to be pretty high. And if there having trouble porting the larger maps in CoD: Zombies, then I would be willing to bet that it would be almost impossible to port of full CoD game.
"Call of Duty: World at War coming to the iPhone is a definite possibility," he said. "That would be a natural fit." http://kotaku.com/5468472/dev-eyes-call-of-duty-world-at-war-for-iphone
Would I want a full sized COD game? Yes. Is it likely? No. My guess is it would be too big a file that most people may not want it.

Before I would have said no way...but now that Josh has said it's possible I see it happening. Would be one amazing feat and one hell of a step forward for the iPhone/iPod.
Spec Ops Well I would say that there is a chance that a full CoD game could come to iPhone, but I think we should get Spec Ops from MW2 as an iPhone game.
Activision and Treyarch have made (and continued to make) a ton of money off the App Store. That suggests that porting another one of their properties is a good idea from a business perspective. So yes, it will likely happen. Wether it would actually be worth playing on the iPhone, that's another issue.
it's possible but how much will it cost? a one map game already cost $9.99 and if the success of COD:WAW will continue, they'll continue to release updates and add more DLC maps(same price as a full game ) and they won't need to do lots of effort to make a whole COD game if with just a liitle effort will have them lots of money
Dont know 'bout you guys but i would sure buy it if it came out. With its unique and smooth multiplayer i would. COD:WaW zombies runes just great.
