What happened after that: a popular pirate site hacked the ipa file of this version and started distributing it for free, so no point in removing it from the App Store, at least in iAd-served countries. Other countries can still download the "limited" FREE version though (as also mentioned in that thread). It looks like hackers are very aware of this forum.
