Aimed at younger players than the recent Genius Killer, it's still quite sophisicated, offering a wide variety of collectible parts - wheels, thrusters, parachutes etc which are assembled on a 2D grid. Then there's some simple programming to assign controls.The ensuing attempted rescues are made entertaining by the exaggerated physics as vehicles bounce over rough terrain, and the undignified way that peope are dragged to safety, or, with some of my designs, under the wheels of the rescue vehicles. I think it's very accessible to young children since they focus on 2D designs. Teaching kids saving people is definitly a good point. But for someone who've been playing with 3D stuff too long( plastic models ruined my life lol), I find it difficult to design things in 2D since it lacks a certain depth of details that only 3D models can access. Conclusion: very accessible and fun to mess around. The new cosmetics and function blocks are a huge plus. For a 2.5D building type of game, it's definitely on the simple side. I think it's very accessible to young children since they focus on 2D designs. Teaching kids saving people is definitly a good point. But for someone who've been playing with 3D stuff too long( plastic models ruined my life lol), I find it difficult to design things in 2D since it lacks a certain depth of details that only 3D models can access. Conclusion: very accessible and fun to mess around. The new cosmetics and function blocks are a huge plus. Would welcome the creator to let players create stuff in 3D mode and pilot them in the 2.5D in the game or in one of his futur game.
