At least a dozen times by now, but it's probably been more. Okay, so I'm looking forward to it a little.. okay, quite a lot.
Greetings, I was recently captivated by the retro title Kale in Dinoland which was based on a similar premise - Super Mario Land influence and various powerup abilities. The graphics of Wawa Land look excellent and if the controls are as tight as they are depicted in the video we may very well have a new classic on our hands. Thank you for your efforts - I look forward to playing your game. By the way, does Wawa Land include IAP? In my opinion, from a customers point of view, I would rather spend a little more for a game than to have to deal with IAP.
@AnarKitty lol Hope you will like it @retr0spective Thank you very much to support Wawa By the way: Where do you get the info about the IAP ? IAP are not included in the first version of the game. I will add them with the first or the second major update, but you can absolutely play the whole game without using them. They will be only a help for people who want to go faster. $0.99 is the only thing you've got to spend to play the game and all its free futur updates. I hope, I have answered your questions
I'm a huge fan of platfom games and this looks AWESOME. The only thing I'm concerned with is the music I heard in the trailer (it was making me dizzy). Is that going to be the official music in the game?
@shyguy3 Thank you very much! I really hope that you will enjoy the game The music of the trailer is the main theme of Wawa Land which is only on the title screen. So no, you'll heard much more "playable" music in the levels Tell me what you think of it when you'll have played the game
Thank you for being so candid with your feedback for everyone. I didn't have any prior knowledge of your IAP implementation, if that is what you are wondering. I was just curious. In my experience as a player and customer, I have simply grown to dislike IAP in general. I understand its advantages for the developer as a business model, the App Store being a notoriously difficult place for talented independent developers to make money, but all to often it becomes a gameplay model as well. In these instances, obstacles are deliberately placed in the way of the player to force them to choose between a certain debilitating repetitiveness (collecting achievements to unlock new levels) or paying more money to play at a normal pace or at a moderate difficulty level. I was simply making the comment that, again as a player, I don't mind spending a few extra dollars as part of the original cost if it means avoiding such unnecessary obstacles. As I said before, I understand the financial burden that is placed upon the developer for our market which leads to the IAP business model, so I will be happy to support your (what appear to be quite remarkable and talented) efforts either way. Best of luck on your launch of Wawa Land. I will be one of the first in line to play.
@CygnetSeven Can't wait too @retr0spective Thank you (again) for your Wawa's support I totally agree with you and that's why IAP will be absolutely optional in Wawa Land, and are not included in the first version (2 days... XD)! As a player I hate this dictatorship of IAP on a large part of the freemiums! That said, I really hope that you'll enjoy the game! And please, give me feedbacks if you can By the way, sorry to everyone for my english which has a quite low level...
