What are your top 5 hidden gems?
-please don't list more than 5
-please don't list any games over 300 megabytes unless they are truly spectacular.
-please do include the best aspect of the game in your opinion
    My top 5:
    Junk jack, for depth
    Nihilumbra, for atmosphere
    Solipskier, for sheer enjoyment
Dragon Island Blue- nearest to pokemon on app store
    Synesthetic- visually insane

  2. There is already a thread for this, pal.

That thread was much to long, to many hidden gems per post cluttered together made some of the feel irrelevant. I'm looking for the best of the best of the hidden, and I only want 5 per post max in order to make people choose their favorites, instead of just good.
If ^ this type thread exists, my apologies, please provide a link.

I've been told to check out Knighturn before, but now that I am looking for it, I cant find it in the U.S. App store. Is it still there?

hahaha... knew I couldn't be the only one - not after the crusade I went on to get people to check it out. =oP

Miss Claire Garden - because it's one of the best platformers on the iOS.
Space Tripper - my favorite game of 2011... fantastic gameplay and one hell of a challenge
BallAHolic - AWESOME 3D puzzler. It's atmosphere is fantastic, and the little bits of "!%**$#@!" dialogue from the main character are great. =oP
iDaTank - Great atmosphere and one hell of a great dual stick shooter - minus the fire stick. =oP
Jelly Pops - I'm still playing this one, which doesn't happen too often with me and little casual endless arcade games. I put it up there with MAMC in terms of addictiveness and replay value (maybe even more-so in this aspect than MAMC).

    **honerable mentions**

    I know you said not more than 5... but these couple really do deserve to be mentioned;

    Fractal Combat
    Explodables
    Eve of Impact

It appears the developer, Mangobile, removed Knighturn. Here's an appshopper archive link. This must have occurred recently because I know they were avalaible around the holiday season. That's a bummer. Hopefully it comes back. It appears Knightturn and Sword & Earring (Sw&Ear) were removed from both App Store Android's Google Play but a sequel Kingturn (Android exclusive) remains avaliable. I would be curious to see what is going on.

Edit: I e-mailed the developer to see what the deal is; will let you know what I find out. This will not stand.

  17. Sorry I can't provid a link, I use the TA app whenever I'm on the forums. I suppose you were right, the way that thread was organized wasn't good at all.

I can't think of my favorite hidden gems at the top of my head, let alone rank them, so I'll get back to you on that. :)

  18. Went to go buy ms clair gardens cause of you two, then realized it's iphone only. Boo hiss! Oh well, maybe it's time to go buy afterburner to see if it plays well on tv.

I'll pick 5 that usually don't get mentioned

1.) Trap Hunter-Lost Gear, it's a dungeon crawler where you lay traps, it's unique. Price: $4.99
2.) Goosecogs- a platformer that never gets mentioned with an awesome art style, just google it and watch the YouTube gameplay video.
3.) Wolfenstein RPG- Come on its Wolfenstein as an RPG!
    4.)Hard 8, it's drop 7 meets Vegas.
5.) Phantom Leader- it's a solitaire board game, it's not some nerdy wizard dungeon romp, this is you against Charlie from 1,000 feet above Vietnam. Napalm in the morning ain't cheap at $15, but it smells like victory!

    Enjoy.

    In no particular order...

    14px - Hardest game I've ever played
Ninja In Barrel - Most well designed
Nuts! - Very unique endless runner
Skyworld Enigma - Cool puzzle game
Robo Force - Endless Jumper w/ boss fights

I'm bad at remembering things, so these are mostly just games I've played recently. :)
