Hey guys, Im Fredrik and I work for a publisher in northern Europe called PAN Vision, we just recently started publishing games for different digital platforms and its exciting. I hope you dont mind me posting here but Ive seen a couple of threads in the forum asking for strategy games for iOS devices. Weve got one of those. World in War is an epic WW2 turn based strategy game set in Europe with deep strategy and advanced graphics, the game is currently under development and is coming for the iPhone and the web end of 2010. We have got a temporary website up and running with more concept art and ingame art and if you are interested in the game check back in this thread as Ill update it as we progress but also take a look at our Facebook page, twitter-feed and newsletter. Oh my! Looking good! EDIT: any plans on an iPad version? Just wondering, cause i find playing strategy games on a bigger screen alot easier
Hey, glad you like it We have not decided on the iPad just yet, we are definitely looking into it atm with the changes to the resolution the iPhone4 brings as well. Hopefully we can release it for all iOS devices.
I love WWII but Ive never played a strategy game set in WWII. From the concept art, this looks like a great game. I'll be following this one.
Looking forward to this, kinda reminds me of Pathway to Glory for the Ngage ( still one of the most awesome strategy game I ever played)
I'm glad people seems to like it, the game is currently in very early development so I can't get you any ingame screenshots but I can tell you that some of the screenshots in the 1st post will be in the game with different functions.
Just to let everyone know, we have posted more pictures on our facebook page and we'll have some ingame screen shots available this or next week. Probably at one of the bigger iPhone sites out there
THAT! I used to cuss SO MUCH playing it I loved High Seige too, loved it more as it had vibrant colors, was a little easier & had so many maps
Hehe, sorry guys seems like I was a bit premature promising those screenshots We are hard at work and as soon as I've got news you'll now I'm currently creating our 'real' website with lots of information about the game, a developer blog and more, if you have any suggestions on content you would like to see I'm all ears. We'll definitely try and provide some behind the scenes stuff as well as the normal stuff. PS.
