iPad Gridlee: Emulated with MAME4iOS 1.3.

I've said several times someone should "quitely" repackage mame and dosbox knowing they will get pulled, but not before informing the community. It's not like it's a major breach of Apple's developer licence...just an, oops, didn't realize I left the door on the file system open sorta thing. Compare that to the fake Contras, Minecrafts, etc...

THANK YOU! (even though I still have imame on my PC...it's Dosbox and the version of the c-64 collection with Basic and IIRC an unlocked back door that I lost to a different itunes account).

 

3rd Strike? This is a real upgrade from iMame after all...

 

MAME is an arcade cabinet emulator. In it's broadest scope, the project aims to emulate as many ARCADE chipsets as possible. Now, there could always be funky sauce built into this particular version, but MAME isn't a home console/personal computer emulator.

 

This doesn't require the paid version of iExplorer, correct?

 

Are you confusing Awesome Files with iExplorer? IExplorer is a PC/MaC program. The company that publishes it, Macromedia, also has an app (which I have) called Awesome Files. You don't load rom's via an app.

Do you need iexplorer 3 free or paid version or will the older free version work of iexplorer work with the iphone 5?

Never mind got it

 

i used new version of ifunbox. the older version wasnt working, but the 2.1 for windows worked like a charm.

Has anybody tested any BIOS' to increase compatibility? I just tested PlayChoice-10 with Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and Dr. Mario, but it did not work. It said "missing one or more ROM or CHD images."

 

iFunbox on the PC or Mac.

 

The Japanese Pac-man work on my old iMame4ios emulator (non-jailbroken) as well as US Donkey Kong--but neither of them are working for me. Am I missing any files?

 

Do not bother yourself with iExplorer or iFunbox, just get iTools.

I guess there is no way to change BIOS to Unibios?

i've tested Nintendo Super System Bios with Contra 3 and Addams Family, but doesn't work... has anybody a tip for this and the other bios issues?

Bugger, that's a new romset then. I'm using my FBA roms to mixed results. 3rd Strike doesn't work for instance.
