We are making a new mobile game, optimized for touch screen devices, called FETCH. Fetch is an adventure game - but for a fun twist, we threw in a variety of arcade mini-games which you have to complete in order to progress through the story. The arcades are refined variations of classic gaming experiences. They dramatically affect the playability of the game and allow competitive or social players the opportunity to match off against each other for High Scores. You can watch the trailer here: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Fetch speaks to that deep part of the human condition, of love and loss. It triggers the remembrance of our best friendships. The story is an emotional one for most players. You feel the need to reconnect the boy and Bear (his dog). You take ownership in the outcomes. The game is riddled with references that add to the nostalgic charm that you come to relate to the game. It becomes an Easter Egg hunt of its own, a game in a game. What do you think?
Trailer Impressions Just watched the trailer. The art style and sound really stood out, and the premise for the game is original and heart-warming. Fetch is now on my most anticipated games list.
seems interesting but I feel Big Fish games are always overpriced compared to other games which deliver equally (if not more) of the same content.
I think we need an eta I've always supported big fish, and will continue to do so. They've provided stellar gaming experiences for my family
Wow... looks interesting... this look like point n click adventure... Exciited come this thursday please...
Heard that the team who worked on Drawn are behind this. Safe to say I won't hesitate to buy this in an instant. My girlfriend is the biggest Drawn fan out there, and I had the pleasure of playing Trail of Shadows with her from start to end (gonna play 1 and 2 the next time I travel to see her Pretty hard not tapping those damn icons though!). Can't wait for this.
I shared this with the team. Thank you for such kind words! FETCH will be launched in the first half of this year. We would love to give you a more refined ETA, but we don't have one yet. It depends on the distributors of mobile games and when they want to make it available to players. I will tell you as soon as I know anymore details! Oh, and for anyone who is interested, I will be posting Chris Campbell and Brian Thompson's talk today from the WTIA Gaming Community Event. Check our Facebook page for the video.
WOW!! I wish my wife would play video games with me, but she has absolutely no interest in ANY of them! I've tried to get her into it on any level over the years but she just can't be bothered with it at all. Looks like I'm left to a life of playing with myself! ;o(
