Also, is it worth the $2.99? awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #5 awp69, Nov 20, 2012 Run fine on my 3GS so I'm sure it'll be fine on your 4G Touch. I don't regret getting it for the original $4.99. But it really depends on if you were a fan of the original. "Newbies" might find it floaty and outdated. It's meant to be floaty and it's a very good port of the original. fenderbendr Well-Known Member Mar 7, 2012 183 0 0 #6 fenderbendr, Nov 20, 2012 Hmm... Just looked at the App Store reviews and everyone says it crashes as soon as they tap the screen. Does disabaling Game Center fix the crashes? It's still $4.99... When will it be $2.99 in the U.S? nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #7 nightc1, Nov 20, 2012 My son and I are both on GameCenter and the game loads fine for me. I just called him now and he said he played it last night on his 4th Gen iPodTouch 8GB (which I've read is basically a 3rd gen) and had no issues with it. They did update the game not too long ago though so maybe they fixed whatever issue folks were having, though we never experienced issues with the game. Also, if it's not marked down yet on the store then it's probably going to $2.99 at 10pm CST. I upgrade to iOS 6.0.1 on the weekend, and I can run the game, and it is a definite recommendation nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #9 nightc1, Nov 20, 2012 I should have mentioned also both myself and my son are on 6.0.1 ... I could check on my wife's iPhone4 which is on 5.something. The app itself lists 4.3 as the minimum. fenderbendr Well-Known Member Mar 7, 2012 183 0 0 #10 fenderbendr, Nov 21, 2012 Last edited: Nov 21, 2012 Just checked and its now $2.99 in the U.S App Store. EDIT: I Bought it and let it download then powered down all the apps and restarted the device. I started it up and it crashed when playing arcade mode. I then logged out of Game Center and played crazy box for a few minutes then when I tried original mode, it crashed again. I really hope they can fix this soon... banger1103 Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 711 0 0 #11 banger1103, Nov 21, 2012 Uncompressed file size? nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #12 nightc1, Nov 21, 2012 204MB 135MB compressed so you should need ~340MB to start the download if going straight to your I-device. banger1103 Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 711 0 0 #13 banger1103, Nov 21, 2012 Thanks! fenderbendr Well-Known Member Mar 7, 2012 183 0 0 #14 fenderbendr, Nov 21, 2012 Well, I got it to run pretty smoothly on arcade and original mode, but for one or two minutes after I start the game, the music pauses and the taxi stutters quite a bit. After those two minutes it's fine. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
