Hey guys, I'm an iOS developer and gamer who still occasionally enjoys the simplicity and low barrier to entry of text based games like iMob, Downtown Mafia and the various others some of you guys are likely familiar with. But, I always hated the energy timers and pay to win these games are/were known for. I get the market for these games isn't huge anymore but, with better technological services and tools, I often wondered if it would be feasible (and profitable) to create a game like this without the pay to win and limited play time. I've been thinking about building one myself for iOS and I was wondering if anyone here would still be interested in a game like that sans the pay to win and energy timers.
Honestly, I think the timer is the game in those sorts of games. Take that away and there's nothing left.
