Hi, Traplight Games is pleased to announce a preview of it's first game for iPhone. We are a small team so all feedback is appreciated. In short the game is all about fast life as a world saving SuperHero looking for fame. Hectic side-scrolling action, protecting cities by smashing and bashing your way thru a lot of different enemies and gaining fame by highfiving fans and using your special powers! Game features survival gamemode, 15 level campaign, cool sountrack and detailed graphics with randomized cities varying from smaller towns to metropols. Looks excellent so far! I'm curious the "randomized cities" part - does that mean each of them are procedurally generated? Anyways, the graphics here are really well done and stylized, and the game looks fun.

Oh a side-scrolling hero game, enh...I'll check out the video I guess. WHOA! I'm SOOO on board now and with the "randomly generated cities" you have just guaranteed yourself a first day sale from me!

Wow! Great community here. Lot's of responses. Thanks everybody! To answer some of the questions: About controls: The game has tilt control, so you control the hero by tilting the device. Special powers and turbo are triggered by pressing the buttons on the screen. It's pretty intuitive. But there's also touch only controls available. Special powers for the character include: FREEZE: works for the organic enemies. BOMB: basically kills everything on screen. LIGHTNING: which creates a force-field that lasts for a while and sends lightnings to enemies near you destroying them. You load up these abilities by highfiving fans and collecting powerups. And then there's a slightly different BOOST which is constantly loading and you can use it to gain momentum before smashing into your opponents.
Now that just sounds like a cool way of re-upping your abilities. Nice, I like that there are 2 control schemes to try out.
