      Maybe they will start having a free app of the week like Amazon/ Google. Is this something they have ever done before?

      On the main App Store screen in itunes, right under the New and Noteworthy section.

      No more GOTWs from Apple either. It's all "Editor's Choice" now like the usual gaming sites. Two this week for games: Extreme Skater and Air Mail.
