Hey all! I am the developer of a new game called Coloralescence, a puzzle game about mixing colors. The aim of the game is to place the available colors on the puzzle board in the right order, to mix them and to form the target color. The game is not easy, it challenges color perception abilities, and puzzles are quite tricky! Some screen shots from the game: and a video teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qcri-08hwfM What do you think? The game is still under development, but it will be released in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more news! albemala
@Lavender Thank you! As promised, I published a video demo, where you can also see how to play the game. Anyway, controls are really simple, you select a color from a list of available colors by tapping on it, then you place the on the puzzle board again by tapping on a puzzle "node". That's it! Hope you enjoy the video! albemala
The website is live, go take a look at it! Coloralescence Website Also follow @albemala on Twitter for game news. Thanks! albemala
The game is under Apple review! In the meanwhile, go on PreApps and leave a positive vote if you like the app, thank you. albemala
This looks cool! Seems quite challenging too, I wonder if some people will intrinsically have more trouble solving the puzzles than others, because it's kind of a matter of detailed color perception, right? I'm gonna check this one out!
Thank you! There is a lot of debate around color perception, particularly between women and men, and it turns out that women have a better color perception. However, I think it's really subjective... While developing this game I found out by my self that in the first place solving the puzzles is quite hard, but while playing the color perception is placed under exercise and it improves. Anyway, interesting topic, deserving further discussion!
