      Hey all,

      The truck game from GravitySensation (Archee(The guy who made Fight Drunk 3D)) The controls could be better though,they cover the screen too much,the estimated release date is September 1st.

      Nice! I have the desktop edition and I think it will be also great on the iPhone..

      The fact its only first person view puts me off buying a little.

      Usually I use the first person view in driving / auto stunt games.

      I am with you on this one however. This game is much more fun in 3rd person.


      The good news is that you can play all of the levels in 3rd person, BUT only in the practice mode.

      They did a decent job with this port, I just wish that the specular mapping was here for A5 processors.
      Luckily you can turn on the shadows, which look great.

      Isn't the shadow turned on by default on your device?
      It's supposed to be turned on by default on all fast devices.
      Except iPhone 1,2,3gs, ipod 1,2,3 and ipad1.
      But I don't have any of the fast device to test this.

      It's too hard to control the camera while you are driving. As you are holding a device, you only have the two thumbs to tap the screen, and it's kind of hard to control the camera in the same time.

      I don't want to seem rude but I'll just wait for a sale. As at 69p I'll buy pretty much anything as an impulse buy just to check it out.

      Is there any way to turn off the tilt camera when your in first person?

      Updated

      If you get the latest version now, you can disable the zoom by tilt, and you can place the steering on the left side of the screen.
      The people have completed almost every level in the game.
      On some levels only 1% of player go through:)
