Ha, you think that's hideous (actually I remember a friend of mine having one of those, and while the keyboard looked like a pain in the rear to use, it was so small back then!), take a look at this! The Pet computer by Commodore. I remember using these in the library when I was a kid and another friend of mine had one in his house. LOL, they used audio tape drives for data backup. In any case, I'm definitely looking forward to IB Dungeons, and don't worry - I'm sure it'll come out. IB is too successful of a franchise for the game to be dropped. And yes, lots of older gamers now - since gaming started back in the 70s/80s, those of us who played back then and are still playing now are of course considerably older than the current console generation. And I know I for one still prefer the sweet spots of gaming, which for me were the late 80s (Spy Hunter, Bard's Tale, AutoDuel) and 90s (Baldur's Gate, Marathon). Which of course is one reason why I LOVE iOS - so many great games from those times reappearing!
Sorry, wrong thread. Try the "announced but never going to release" forum. This thread is for older gamers to reminisce about bygone times when the iPhone was a made-up word, Apple was to most people a fruit and one waited for lighting to strike to light their fires and cook their food. The wheel had been invented, but it was still in the prototype phase.
I need to get one of those 16K expansion boxes for my iPhone. I remember when we had a tape drive for the Atari 800, a friend of ours would use a dual audio casette deck to copy programs/games to a blank tape. Piracy started early...
LMAO @ carpal tunnel one.. Yeah, ZX81 had a tape recorder as well... was just a normal tape recorder at that time. And omg... never saw that Commodore PET one... Looks like one for on the go.. hahaha
Thank you, I've never heard of the ZX81. The Timex Sinclair, though, I remember when that was on sale vividly.
Running a 1 Gb game probably take 4000 cassettes... (which is not possible anyways..) and hopefully no Read Errors.... hahahahahahaha
Mine too, I remember programming stuff in basic fom magazines for like an hour and then my brother unplugging it and laughing.
So I guess Epic figures if they don't publish any news about this game, people will just forget about it..... Wondering if there is any chance this game will even be released.... Smells like another March of Heroes.
You'll be lucky if it even comes out ( not kidding) what is that sign, btw, trying to figure out what it is?
lol, Coming soon in 2018 an iOS 3 pack, Forgotten Memories (of an iOS game), Infinite Delays: Dungeon of Polish, and 2020 Delayed Wars... Coming soon
