Space Inversion and Space Inversion Puzzle updates are now out adding icade compatibiltiy. Both games are well done so if you have a space invaders fetish fill your boots :).

Ordered an iCade today. Should be here tomorrow. I plan to buy pretty much everything on the list that I don't already own :)

There are so many games that would be fantastic with support. I'm surprised more devs aren't doing it.

kevlar x mentioned this a few posts back but Match Panic (now universal with iCade support) is still free, but won't be for much longer! So grab it while you can :D

I wish Dospad/iDos would support the iCade... would make playing games so much easier!

as of now you can use a bluetooth-keyboard (and that's what the iCade technically is) with Dospad/iDos, but the key-repeat-rate is much to low so for example running right makes the character run a pixel to the right, stop, run a pixel to the right again etc.... really a pitty :(

    greetings

Oh my word. This thing is wonderful. Warblade is an utter joy to play in a cabinet.

It's almost criminal that more games don't support it. One question? How do I configure Velocispider to use it? Can't seem to see and option and the joystick doesn't seem to do anything when I play.

As long as the icade is connected you should get a little ' use controller ' option to tick at the bottom of the screen just before you start a game.

No Gravity looks great, alas I've spent way too much on games this week so this one will have to wait.

Nogravity plays well until I use the iCade then it plays but without sound.

Same on iPad and iPad 2.

    Weird.

I just tried no gravity. With the iCade paired the menus seems to be unresponsive. When I started a game the loading screen showed joystick and button controls (So I guess it knew I had an iCade) but when I started the controls didn't work at all. No sound here either for some reason.

I got Velocispider working earlier. Man that game is fantastic. Hammering the crap out of the fire button you get the impression the iCade can easily take it.

You need to do the following
    - Pair the iCade
    - Go the settings system, No Gravity
    - Choose Arcade ON (Check also Sound ON because ,in rare case, it goes zeroed).
    - Run the game.

You should be able to navigate in the menu with the joystick and play.

Seems that your installation is corrupted. Delete the app, reinstall from the App Store and it should be OK

All this has been done on both my iPad and iPad 2. I've deleted it and re-installed at least 3 times now on each.
And it's not just me having the issue so I'd say its a bug in the game.

The iPad is jailbroken for MAME and the iPad 2 is just standard with latest firmware.
