Gameloft recently posted onto facebook a photo showing the NOVA character and the caption "keeping watch over gameloft HQ" is this a hint towards N.O.V.A 4?
I don't believe this suggests N.O.V.A 4 is coming. They are probably just promoting nova 3. I believe these are the only game loft games coming out in 2013. • Asphalt 8: Infinity • War Boys • Total Conquest • Dungeon Hunter 4 • Gangstar Vegas: City of Sin • Brothers in Arms 3 • Order & Chaos Duels • Modern Combat 5: Last War • Iron Man 3 • My Funny Hospital • GT Racing 2: Motor Academy • Despicable Me 2
I'm fairly sure all of their upcoming new releases for 2013 appeared in the leak. At least they haven't announced anything else and it has been correct so far.
Funny enough they have only released freemiums so far this year... I wonder if all of the games on the list will be freemium...
How comes none of you have heared that nova 4 was due to september and that it'll use an all new graphic engine created by gameloft! The game has been on developpement since jully if i remember. There are lots of articles talking about that!! Just search in google!!
Why? What did the engine ever do to you? It runs on the same engine used in MC titles and most of Gameloft's other action-oriented games, dont it?
I can't see why they wouldn't do another nova, they seem to like to release their big titles yearly (modern combat/nova/asphalt). We will probably find out soon enough, this time last year they were starting to hype up N.O.V.A 3 with their April fools joke video about N.O.V.A 2.5
For me its a little outdated, MC3 was a big step up, but MC4 isn't much better than MC3, IMO it was even worser. I just can't look at these weird animations - maybe I'm demanding too much from a mobile game but I do.
WHAT? The animations were done by professionals using motion capture, and it uses Havok physics. I think you played the wrong game.
As far as I know, NOVA 3 used a slighty updated version of the engine used in MC3, so for NOVA 4, GL will probably use an updated version of the engine used in MC4.
Perhaps you should play one of the bigger PC/Console FPSs? There's quite a difference between the animations (and physics) there and the animations (+ physics) in a gameloft game on iOS/Android.
