Do you guys think they will go out of business? Freemium games never seemed to please (except Eliminate) and with the whole Rolando cancellation thing, it was an even greater let down. What do you expect to see from ngmoco and do you think they can return to glory?
I wouldn't say they are screwed. They're making a crapload of money with their DLC system and I remember Eliminate was in the top ten grossing at one point. The only thing they made a mistake on was cancelling Rolando.
The only thing I like of ngmoco is their logo and the fact that they published Rolando. Hand Circus should release the game by themself and make a lot of money. I'll be the first one to support them.
Yeah, that is exactly what I think. The only things that I like that came from ngmoco were the rolando series, but all ngmoco did was publish them, Hand Circus deserve all the money and credit, they shouldn't of got ngmoco to publish their games. ngmoco suck and I'll never support them.

You are completely ignorant. The "Freemium" model is a tried and tested brilliant way of making money. And at the moment Ngmoco are making bucket loads of it.
Although ngmoco makes freemium games (mind I hate the system), they still make high-quality titles. We Rule is also a rip-off of farmville which generates a lot of profit with the same DLC system on facebook. While ngmoco has lost a lot of fans and respect with their freemium they'll continue to make them as they will continue to make money. Ngmoco was once one of my favorite developers when they made high quality, set price games. I still like them now as their games are fun, they just won't be getting any of my money
They've lost a lot of fans? TouchPets and Eliminate were downloaded 9 million times, who do you think downloaded those copies? People just downloading them to spite ngmoco?
I think Touchpets and Eliminate are the best games they have made. Even though I spent a boat load of money on them. I am looking forward to We rule for it to get here in the US so I can give them more of my money. It is the one game I have not deleted on my Ipod
