Neogaf's top iOS games of all time.

Their list seems oddly similar to mine........



Definitely agree with PvZ as number 1 and S&S and GDS in the top ten.

Good list. I loved it right until I saw Great Little War Game down at #131

 

I'd say there top 30 as a whole is pretty solid, but I would switch some things in the top 10.

Well yeah, I'd much rather see Top 10 shooters on iOS or something.

 

Maybe its just me ! I've got over 300 games on my ipod but from that top 10 i only like about 3 ! Never got why Angry Birds is soooo popular, find that very dull, same for Tiny Wings ! (sorry !)

 

Why Infinity Blade?
The gameplay is very repetitive and boring,all it is is two actors slashing each other with swords and no free roam available.

 

Yup I only like Peggle, PvZ, Fruit Ninja, CtR and GDS from top 10.

 

GLWG HD for iPad is in my personal top 5 list. The game´s charm is just lovely.

 

all the ones that are bolded are the ones that I don't agree with. They all get boring after a few days. Thought Real Racing 2 should be in top 5 for sure.

Lot's of casual crap on it. Only agree with GDS, PvZ.

Yep agree with you. Heard about all the love for Infinity Blade and the graphics looked amazing so i bought this, was just very disappointed, found it quite dull, nice to look at

 

Kind of a strange list that seems to favor mostly casual games over everything else (although surprisingly Superbrothers Sword & Sorcery made it in the top 10).

But if you look at the overall list, you have things like 1000 Heroz (#45) over things like Aralon (#175), Galaxy on Fire 2 (#71) and Chaos Rings(all the way down at #322). 1000 Heroz may be a good game, but don't think it deserves to be that far up on the list.

RPGs and platformers in general were poorly represented (although League of Evil was #33).

And while they're different styles, I always for some reason put Battleheart and Legendary Wars on about the same level as far as how great they were. Here, Battleheart took #12 while Legendary Wars took #348. Damn that's a huge gap.

Anyway, no ones ever happy with polls and there are some good games in there (I personally think Tiny Wings is fun but WAY overrated). I think if there was a poll of TA gamers, this list would look a lot different.

 

I can't believe that Jet Car Stunts isn't higher on the list than only 94th

What surprised me the most was that Rimelands wasn't even on it, even though it's probably my favorite iOS game ever.
