I would go with NOVA. Eliminate comes a close second but it's a real pain in the ass when you have to buy different guns, playing time, armor etc etc.
After the release of Verruckt yesterday, Call of Duty:World at War: Zombies has re-established itself as the number 1 shooter on the iDevice. I think it's even better than NOVA, and that's saying quite a bit as far as shooters go.
Definetly don't get NOVA. There are a ton of hackers. Get CoD: Zombies which is players vs. environment multiplayer, and get Modern Combat: Sandstorm, has no hackers because gameloft protected the files better, and has team, and deathmatch matches.
I think the multiplayer for MC: Sandstorm is better than NOVA. COD: Zombies is equally as good though, it is something different than the typical online DM.
Same but i think that the sandstorm multiplayer is better than NOVA But i hate it when people quit halfway through in zombies
Modern Combat: Sandstorm is a good MP fps. It WOULD have been COD, but the multiplayer doesnt even work for me. And I've bought it a few months ago
It WOULD be NOVA, but the game is now unplayable online due to excessive hacking. If you want a multiplayer FPS, stay away from NOVA. Eliminate is pretty good and it's free. They are going to release a co-op update soon.
Yeah, I realise that. But only being able to play 3 or so matches everyday just makes it boring and frustrating. I can't get serious about leveling up when I can only play a few times every day. Not to mention the unfair advantage that those who pay for these points have. And the whole principle disgusts me. Why should I have to keep on paying? Or why should I have to not pay, but be restricted so much. Why can't they just slam a $9.99 one-time price tag on it and be done with it? This is why I prefer Gameloft's games. I understand that some people enjoy Eliminate, and that's fine by me, but personally I hate it.
I dont really like a Modern Combat: Sandstorm's MP because unlike CoD, you don't have a level system, unlockables or achievements you can work for so for me its meh. I enjoy a lot more CoD:WaW Zombies. Great Co-op fps.
cod is definetly the best one, but only if you can afford the new map dlc. The first map is small and gets boring and repetitive very soon, but the new map is simply amazing. If you dont have the money to buy both the game and dlc (total of $15), then get nova. Even though hackers are slowly ruining it, I still think its better than sandstorm, in which I have also encountered many hackers. Before you buy either of these though, you might want to try eliminate because its basically free (unless your dumb), and there are some people that really like it.
