When I was using around 6-7 different characters (ryu, dhalsim, honda, viper, chun-li, deejay, sagat) i was hovering between 1500-1900 .. I switched to strictly viper about 2-3 weeks ago, and i finally cracked 2500.

Having one stable character helps you figure out all the different match-ups, I had to learn that the hard way.

Playing mirror matches against higher level players (and watching replays) helped a lot too. Thanks Vaceotyn! I learned stuff I had never used myself before.

edit: further to that point, I learned from TenOnez that staying mid-range and having patience will move you up another 200-300BPs, compared to reckless offense. Best to wait for opportunities to get really aggressive, then pull back. Changing your speed/pace forces ppl to adapt, which they sometimes can't.

I also looked at the Statistics on the Battle Protocol website .. Akuma has something like 14% usage, with Sagat, Ryu, Ken all following at around 11%.

(or it was Akuma 18% with Sagat/Ryu/Ken at 14% each).

Characters like Viper, Vega, were down at 4% usage. Makoto, Yun, Cody down at 1.5%

While I don't always like counter-picking, knowing all the keepaway akumas and sagats out there, you should have a good strategy/gameplan for handling them.

Good games Squall, although it was only one match and laggy:) not a good day for me, lost a lot of BPs but accumulated around 300 in TPs ::)

Xaphier is a sole loser! Beat him two rounds and he quit!

gg dragba, it was too laggy for my taste, otherwise I would have stayed for more games.

Switch your language to Japanese and go into replays. Unless, of course, you want to download SFIV:V from the Japanese App Store...

Actually, he would have lost like a 100BP if he lost to you :) I fought him many times and he never dropped on me either. Accident maybe?

Anyways, your output in the last day is nuts

Finix...as you are the leader of AccentCore now, I see we have new members. Can we change the message of our team to "members go to Toucharcade.com and look for Volt" or something to that effect. More members the better :)

If you dont know the JP characters, try to navigate blindly to the replays over there in Battle Network. I have randomly chose some here and there and theyve always been awesome fights..

edit: what are you trying to do? just hit the cog wheel[settings] in the SFV app and change the language, then upload to Battle Network..

For example, Yun has two symbols, and his name's at the very bottom.
