The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in... 1st Place: Starseed: Origin [13 votes] 2nd Place: Super Happy Fun Block [11 votes] Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=271376 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote for it. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New"tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ AGRAV THREAD Astra THREAD AZZL THREAD Blackwell 4: Deception THREAD Bridge Constructor Stunts THREAD Buried Town THREAD Cavernaut THREAD DragonSoul RPG THREAD Dungeoneers Academy THREAD Flydasher THREAD Freeze! 2 - Brothers THREAD Gamebook Adventures 11: Song of the Mytics THREAD Gamebook Adventures 12: Asuria Awakening THREAD Happy Pet Story: Virtual Pet Game THREAD HoPiKo THREAD Just Cause 3: Wingsuit Experience THREAD Land Sliders THREAD Lifeline 2 THREAD Lunar Flowers THREAD Magic Flute THREAD Micro World Evolution THREAD PewDiePie: Legend of Brofist THREAD the Sequence THREAD Snail Bob 2 THREAD SPL-T THREAD Tile Tales THREAD Thanks to AnotherKellyDown and sapphire_neo for recent thread and Twitter advertisements Credit to Ap0calypse, ImNoSuperman, TriggyWiggy, Arta, TheFrost, and EchoSeven for theGOTW legacy.
Ridiculous week, I don't even know how I'm going to shortlist 5 games to nominate, let alone which to give my vote.
Yep, I'm gonna need to do a lot of "homework" this weekend before I nominate. There are two games that are definite standouts for me, but there are others I've barely even touched yet.
Agree, it's been a brilliant week. First time in a while I'm gonna easily think of five and I still have a few to play. Half of me wishes every week was like this, other half of me is relieved it's not because I'd be broke Astra. Azzl. Cavernaut. Spl-t lunar flowers.
Here we go, in no particular order: HoPiKo Astrå PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist Cavernaut Bridge Constructor Stunts Any one of these could win and I would be like "Ok, I can see how that happened". The hard part comes with narrowing to just one.
Cavernaut HoPiKo Land Sliders PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist Skeletomb Would have added Astrå but chose Skeletomb since there haven't been any noms for it yet.
Astrå AZZL Beacon 38 Magic Flute the Sequence I would also nominate HoPiKo but it's going to be nominated anyway, so I gave that spot to AZZL.
Ah snap!! HoPiKo was my choice all the way. But to be fair I just picked up Astrå this morning. And haven't had a chance to play it. Gonna do that now after I take care of another treat. Congrats to all the amazing games from all these talented Devs (both indie and Teams). I always try to buy them all.
LandSliders Skeletomb Skeletomb has ate up my freetime. I've killed my battery twice now while playing... such a great little time waster. =oP
LAND SLIDERS Cavernaut Tile Rider Pewdiepie Hopiko Going with Land Sliders, because it's a gorgeous looking and addictive highscore chaser with NO continues/revives and a satisfying risk-reward system by strategical out-witting the enemies for a better score. A true labor of love with lots of little details to be discovered - from gamers for gamers. Haven't had a backlog before, but this has completely changed due to a very rare week, where i could easily nominate 10 enjoyable games instead of 5 (if at all). In addition to those, i also bought two older games i (almost) never heard of. **begs for a slow week to come and runs into a corner to hide**
