Wow, yeah, I think that prise is a little steep considering this is episode 1 of how many? But, who doesn't love Sonic and hopefully the d-pad is much improved over the genesis ported controls
Well... it's $15USD on every other console, and it has everything those versions have AFAIK, plus two exclusive levels, so you do the math...
Urk! I want this so bad... I might actually pay the $10 for it. It's cheaper than it is on every other console it's coming out for too, I think I should add. On the Wii, PS3 and 360 it's gonna cost $15. Although, I might just buy the WiiWare version and then wait for a sale on the iDevice one
OUCH...I was excited till I saw the price! If it had retina support, I'd buy it. I'll wait & see how the reviews are.
No Retina Display support, no sale. This game has been in the making since early 2010, to not cater for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4th Gen is quite embarrassing on SEGA's part in my opinion.
Out of interest, who with a Retina Display device will buy Sonic 4 regardless? Don't get me wrong, I'm old skool when it comes to SEGA, I've imported the Saturn from Japan (and stuck by it through all the crap it took), imported the Dreamcast from Japan, and craved SEGA's coin-op conversions. My collection has long since been sold since I got married and we bought our home, but I still have a soft spot for SEGA. However, Sonic or not, it annoys me having a device that's the top of the range (right now) that's not being catered for.
i was really hoping for retina display support, but it doesn't stop me being excited and buying this regardless... i've been waiting for ages and can't wait to play this!! roll on midnight!!
That's true, but so far we've only seen the game running on an iPhone 3GS. And we all know what happens to games rendered at 3GS resolution when they run on the Retina Display. They go all pixellated. That's my concern.
FINALLY! i can hardly wait to try this out! loved sonic rush on my ds, hope this will keep the standard up! (or thereabouts)
