a new lego star wars game has been developed for unity web browser and the first demo can be played here. I think that they could somehow map the controls to touch surface and if this should be in a different section mods please move.
Never played a Lego game, but this doesn't look half bad. Somebody should email the dev. and suggest that they bring it to the iPhone!
I hope it does come to the iPhone. I think things made in Unity are easy to port to the iPhone, although I'm not 100% sure. Here is a video of the development of the game by Three Lemons: It looks like the graphics would have to be toned down a bit for the iPhone because the web game at the moment can be played full screen and still looks pretty good.
I think this would port well to the and I would certainly buy it as I am a huge fan of Lego Starwars please come out.
Use Firefox. I tried Safari 4 Beta and it didn't work but Firefox does. Anyway, this would be fantastic for iPhone. Simple yet polished graphics, easy to implement controls (D-pad with x and y buttons or accelerometer with tapping the left and right sides of the screen), and fun gameplay. Sadly, this is not even a speculation yet... EDIT: And swipe to jump.
The lego games were very (suprisingly imo) well done. It seems possible that they could put it on idevices, as they've put it on pretty much any other system known to man.
isnt there already a lego game for the idevice, ive heard it was really bad. if this comes out lets just hope they do a better job
The other lego batman game wasn't really a traditional lego game, but rather a compilation of lego-unrelated minigames i believe. If this did come, hopefully it would be more of a port
