Spore's on sale. Nuff Said. Its an ok game, worth 5dollars if you ask me. The dev description still describes it being priced at 6.99 for a "holiday sale", lol. The funny thing is, it was priced at 5.99 prior to this price drop. Link: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=290183295&mt=8
Funny... I used to be really anxious for spore on my iphone, being a big fan of it on the pc. But now even at $2.99 I'm not that interested. Maybe for my kids, though. They're addicted to that game.
I bought it when it was $12.99 (AUD) as I really wanted the PC version but didn't have the right computer specefications. I played it for maybe 5 minutes, and never touched it again. I will now never buy anything from EA on the appstore. I feel these big companies really overlook what makes these games fun for us end users.
It's not just beef with EA, but all the big software companies making a quick buck off the appstore. A general rule of thumb I have picked up (especially reading the "Biggest appstore purchasing regrets" thread, is to stay away from the 'Premium" range games, and give a few of the small (or first) time developers a go. Ps, please point me in the right direction as far as good EA games go (I haven't looked much into what they're doing lately)
Sure thing =] Need For Speed Tiger Woods Anytime Pool (I really enjoyed this game due to full FB integration) Trivial Pursuit Lemonade Tycoon (Free) Star Trek was alright I am yet to try Clue, but I hear it is good. Also, they are coming out with The Sims 3 next week, which should be excellent!
haha US, the UK get it for 59p ($1.63). why though? still not sure whether to get it EDIT Oh ok, it's 99c in US
Bought this yesterday, cant really go wrong with something as strange as this for virtually no money. Really enjoying it as well, graphics and music are very nice and even though its very frustrating at times, its pretty amusing to play as well. nice
