Judging from the trailer it's a port of the HD version, out some months ago on Steam, XLBA and PSN. And it's a fantastic version, gorgeous to look at to booth.
Been a week since the announcment, is it to optimistic to hope for news today?! Probably but I can hope.
Almost 3 months from told it would be a "soon" release and still no update? There has to be some news by now...!
I have personally contacted (ie: bothered) Ubisoft and some websites, including this very one, asking for infos (via mail or Twitter). No-one really even bothered. I hope it doesn't share the same fate of another Ubisoft great looking title (Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, THIS ONE) announced, DEMOED in what seemed a final build...then...nothing.
Missed this thread before. Love, love, love this game. IMO the only game since the original Puzzle Quest to even come close to matching its greatness as a puzzle-rpg hybrid. The downside is a lack of replayability, since you cycle through all of the characters in a single playthrough. Still, a tremendous game, and a must for any puzzle rpg fan.
I sent a PM to SimonTag (the guy from the team for the port) for any news / update and if he will reply to me I will inform you.
Well, I finished Puzzle Saga, which is another clone of COH. Even I played COH on NDS and XBOX, I still really want to play it again... Nothing updated after I saw it would be released on smartphone? I watched the trailer of iOS and it mentioned "Coming soon"...I doubt how Ubisoft define it
This was great on the DS (never played the console ports). Looking forward to spending some time on this one!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeet man did I love M&M, and Heroes of M&M!! Ah the days of clicking the wishing well XP bug in M&M 7...
Versions for iPhone, iPad and Android devices are set to be released "in the near future". Seems like we need to re-define "the near future" for Ubi & Capy.
I contacted Tag Games (the devs in charge with the port). After 2000000 mails with: We can't answer, ask Ubisoft (which doesn't even care) I got a tentative early 2013 release date...so at least it's (still) coming. I hope it doesn't share the ill fate of the other Ubisoft game...Ghost Recon Shadow Warrior...which was demoed last Christamas and then was probably canned because they tried for a year to make it a free to play game...at least this according to a Gallop tweet (Gallop is the original dev and legendary X-Com dev). It amazes me that almost no website is interested in this. This marketing plan is already dooming the game. I'm trying to keep faith but damn Ubisoft, it's really hard.
Early 2013? So " coming soon " or " the near future " means 6 months to Ubi Soft. Anyway, I'll still keep an eye on this game.
Ok, thanks for the info. Fortunately, wii u is coming and it will cosume our time until this game will come out on 2013.
