EA vs Gameloft - 99 cent sale spree going on now!

Nice, I had been wanting Star Battalion HD and for $0.99 I don't have to wait anymore. Thanks for posting this.

Edit: It's worth noting that some of gamelofts HD(ipad) versions of the games you have listed are on sale also and some aren't.

 

EA & Gameloft Sale

Yeah it's great if you are across the Pond in the USA, but the vast majority of these apps are not available outside USA. As per my comment on today's Touch article, this is becoming an increasing occurrence and it is beginning to stink. Apple & Developers should decide if they are in a Worldwide Market or if the Market is primarily the USA and the rest of us get the occasional crumbs/leftovers.

Also you guys at Touch Arcade, if, when you review or produce info on apps, you highlighted whether they were worldwide, because your web site has a Worldwide readership, then it would be much appreciated and highlight this growing trend.

All games (except Yahtzee) are available here in Sweden. EA have two versions of their games (one US and one for the rest of the world for some reason), so alot of times clicking on the AppStore links here on TA wont work with EA stuff.

 

Gameloft won and got my last dollar.

I'm going to have to go with game loft, mainly because they're showing the iPad more love than EA.

I hope the sale lasts until next week and more games are added to the sale(Specifically Gangstar:MV, N.O.V.A, Dead Space and NBA JAM)

 

NOVA 2 is almost guaranteed to go on a $0.99 sale next Monday. So, if anyone is thinking about buying that game, I'd advise you to wait till then, unless you've money to burn.

For a buck, yes.
For more than that, maybe, if you liked Resident Evil 4 iOS.

 

Just get Street Fighter 4 from CAPCOM and Shadow Gaurdian from Gameloft. Those are my picks.

 

BTW, Does anyone think FIFA 11 is the best Soccer game on the app store?
