Recently (Maybe after doing FAAD) I've got some message saying
"Please make your game FREE!" at our Facebook fanpage
    or even at toucharcade forum!

But we can't make our game free easily

but answering this question is very hard for me.
I don't want to be too harsh to them.
They are also our game's fan.

What may be good answer (or reaction) to convince him buy our game :)

    1. Just Ignore
    2. Just Say No
    3. We need your money to keep making game! (Indeed!)
    4. I have family to feed! (Indeed too!)
    5. It's cheaper than starbucks :)
    Or other.

    Thanks in advance.

    Not a dev, but

    Ignoring is rude
Just saying no will anger them
We need your money won't work
    I have a family - people don't care
Cheaper than Starbucks - people don't perceive app store values like this

Other - we recently went free to get increased exposure to our app. We think the current price is a great value, and we got a great response from our FAAD promotion, and so don't anticipate becoming free in the foreseeable future. However purchasing our game will get you the great game now, and the fantastic upgrades we are working on.

That probably won't work either - people buy things they like, and I see very few people being "talked into" something they are on the fence with.

Having good reviews help - there are some "influential" TA members that people seem to like their opinions. Pretty easy to spot them looking through some posts.

Good luck, even though I have no idea what your app is. I think anyone creating something is worthy of some level of success.

Asking to get it free it EXTREMELY rude :)

I just tell them that this is how I am making a living and if I can't make some kind of income, I'll have to stop making games. Anyway, don't bother too much most of the time, they just don't care about your anwser, they are just trying to see if they can get the game for free.

well telling them to fu ck off would be rude... but not answering at all is not..

if a bum on the street asks for a dollar are you rude if you don't answere?

i agree with ovo here its rude to even ask to get something for free.. especialy because thoose individuals do not care about you, your company and the ones the income needs to feed.. they just care about a freebie thats it..

just ignore.. (imho).. or better raise the price ;D hehe

Make a free version with very limited content?

I know it's not an answer, but this way you won't have the question anymore... Or you can redirect people to the lite version.

"Awesome!!! But... - I love this game its soooooo addicting but... In the lite version you should get ALL 7 chapters of the game bcuz i beat all of it but have no money to buy the full version!!!"

So they actually downloaded your game?

    Raise the price! innovative solution!

Maybe that's not they want :)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway I want to them keep attention to my game.

When I was middle-school student I made lots of free games and yelled

    "Download my game! PLEASE!"

but none of my game downloaded over 2000 times.

But in appstore if I make my game free at least 50,000 people download my game.

Maybe I'm happier than before :)

I find the same thing too. Begging for promocodes or asking to lower the price to free usually gets ignored from me.

If I am in a snarky mood I'll reply with "If you don't feel our games are worth the X.99$ investment then our games are not your type of game."

  19. Promo code?

Why don't you just give them a promo code? If it's just one person, this might be an easy way just to get your game in another set of hands.

Such people don't deserve to play your game. If a person does not want to pay for the entertainment your game is providing, maybe he should cash-in his iPhone at a pawn shop.
