Would you guys share your eCPMs in different ad networks please?

Last months eCPM on Chartboost has become so ridiculously low, so today I'm switching it off completely in the mediation stack.

Even Google AdMob, used to be an outsider, now has become better in 5-7 times.

It is just us and our apps?

    Or it's same with all?

The problem is that Chartboost is a CPI ad network. Once the advertiser pays for installation, he doesn't have motivation to work on the conversion of banners and landing pages. And why would he? The payment, after all, is for the installation.
In this situation, 10,000 impressions can be made and the publishers won’t receive a cent. You have no opportunity to influence the conversion of advertising. At best, you can only block the advertiser whose advertising is bad.

Try to take a look at CPM ad networks like Facebook, Amazon Ads or Mopub.

But if you need a really universal solution for monetization, try Appodeal Programmatic Mediation.

Er, they totally do. Higher converting installations provide better rankings charts velocity, better value for internal cross promotions and clickswaps, better leverage for direct deals, and you have less likelihood of being filtered out as a lower performing campaign from the publisher side.

Yes, obvious that in theory this makes sense. But in general, we often see a completely opposite situation.
And only one advice for the topic starter, just try not to use only one ad network in your app, especially CPI.

    Hey,

Sorry to hear you're having some difficulty monetizing with our network. Depending on the amount of traffic you have, this could be random fluctuations or signs of a larger problem. We haven't experienced any major declines in the network so I am inclined to think that we just need to work a bit harder to optimize your campaigns. Feel free to reach out to bizdev[at]chartboost.com and we can take a look at your account.

PikPok is absolutely right here. Performance networks like Chartboost depend on every step of the funnel being optimized. We rank advertising campaigns based on their total conversion (click-through-rate and install-rate) as well as bid. So, an advertiser would not be wise to ignore the final stages in the conversion funnel. If they did, they would be ranked lower in our campaign priority list and would subsequently receive less traffic.

Perhaps Appodeal's algorithm works differently(?), but ours is pretty transparent when it comes to assigning traffic. You can read more about the way our ad server works here :)

If you have additional questions about our network, feel free to send them my way. ;)
