App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store. As the resident "obsessed with music apps" guy, I present another strange looking freebie. Enjoy! In related news, PixyTracker and PixyTracker 1-bit have been updated with Audiobus.
This has gotta be the cutest darned vocaloid I've ever seen! Oh, one last thing...if you don't mind parting with 99 cents, helping out an indie dev, and getting a great synth-toy in the process, pick up Physynth. It's great fun from the developers of The Other Brothers.
Having conversed with them, I can say, with whatever authority people grant me here, that they are bonafide good guys. They (well, one of them, it's the project of one of the 2 Other Brothers devs) are looking to add audio output functions in the future, but, as it stands, it is a great sounding, beautiful stand-alone music app, which is well worth 99 cents for anyone interested in music creation. It's no Magellan, but it doesn't have the learning curve either
If you could rub an app's tummy, I would rub Bliss Pad's tummy. I think I might buy some weird music apps tonight.
Hmmm...2.9mb file size. What's the install size? I might not have enough room. I bought Physynth too, maybe I'll actually get around to loading it up and using it someday.
FYI, you can only export soundscapes w/Physynth...but, like I said, it's only .99. I've told the dev, add Audiobus and sales will pop overnight. Especially when Audiobus sends out emails every day to its users detailing all off the apps which have been updated to include AB.
I never found Physynth to be that good at all, bought it at release but deleted it soon after. An alternative to physynth that's, IMO, way better is Caelestis which basically does the same thing with having "sounds" bouncing around inside different shapes using physics. Although it doesn't have the fancy (and cluttered) 3d graphics of physynth, it's free, sounds better, does Audiobus and virtual midi out (midi is an optional 1 buck upgrade but still) allowing you to have this physics based thingy controlling basically any synth with midi. Anyway just a tip! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/caelestis/id581890854?mt=8
Nice job, Habukuk! I really dig the beginning. Though I though it was a vocoder? Dammit, I have so many damn music apps I don't have time to try 'em all. Same could be said for games... EDIT: I'm an idiot. This whole time I misread the sentence which mentioned the #of voices as being a voice synthesizer, aka vocoder. Speaking of which, I still haven't tried Vio (slams head on table).
I didn't create this, an online buddy (who runs iosmusic.org) did, but this shows Physynth isn't worthless. It was composed w/Physynth, Ampkit, and Multitrack DAW (with possible audiobus linkage of the later two): http://soundcloud.com/iclifdotme/c-ad0-mood481
