After being addicted to Peggle and Stoneloops, I'm looking for a new, similar game.

    Hey all-

I absolutely love Peggle and Stoneloops, and I'm looking for another, similar game -- or, at least, something in the same overall genre.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Peggle is one of a kind. You're not finding anything even close to it for a while. Have you checked out GudeBalls? Haven't played it yet, but heard it's good.

I can't reccomend Blackbeard's Assault enough. it's a tad short (though they added a ton of levels), but just has much more frantic energy than StoneLoops ever had. Not chaos, mind you, just plain FUN.

Hmm, Blackbeard's Assualt looks almost identical to Stoneloops. I'll have to check out the Lite version, because after Stoneloops I'm not sure I want something quite *that* similar.

Azkend looks interesting. I'll check that one out.

    Thanks.

    Any others?

    Try Globall?
It's not the same as Peggle or Stoneloops, but you get to knock a ball around and it's fun :)
    On sale now too!

Azkend is fantastic and I highly recommend it.

I'm still fond of Aurora Feint.

I've heard good things about Tresures of Montezuma and Rise of Atlantis, though I haven't played either yet myself. And the upcoming Puzzlings looks like a lot of fun.

Not yet available, but our next game, DynoQuest, can be perfect for you.
We made a video of the gameplay:

Another vote here for Azkend. You might also want to try Treasures of Montezuma.

I liked Akend, but it is kind of short. I went through it in a day.

Both Treasures of Montezuma and Rise of Atlantis are quite good and worth getting. If you are only going to get one, I would recommend Rise of Atlantis. Tons of levels, differents kinds of challenges, interesting power-ups.

    Hello-

I'm the one that started this thread, and I just wanted to renew my question and see if anybody had anything else to add. I checked out all the games mentioned in this thread, and purchased a few of them. Some of them are really good games, but none are really grabbing me the way Peggle and Stoneloops did.

What I'm looking for is a puzzle/arcade style game, with levels/worlds. In other words, not just a "pick up and play" for 5 minutes type of game that starts fresh each time you pick it up. I want a progression.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!!

I just looked at that. Almost every reviewer has only reviewed that game

While I admire the time and effort the developer put it to create 70 or so accounts and leave themselves 70 or so 5-star reviews, I think I will pass.

The irony is, I would probably have tried it out otherwise.
