Zomg ZOMG, port World of Warcraft, for realz, IMO!!!!!!!!1111111one Hah, I am only kidding, I just wanted to sarcastically say it to pre-emptively poke fun at the moron who is ACTUALLY going to get on this thread and say it later. Wouldn't it be cool to have a really big "epic" game on the iPhone, though? Actually, a serious response to this thread is that I would love to them do the Working Designs Lunar remakes (complete with anime cutscenes) the same way that Vay was successfully ported to the iPhone.
what ever happened to Graal Zone? that game looked great! I've never tried the computer version, but it looks like it's right up my alley. I heard the iphone version needed some work, but I'd like to see it resurface soon. I'd like just about any FPS ported. arcade brawlers like the simpsons, or ninja turtles would be cool. maybe tilt the device to move your character around the screen? I guess we won't know how well that works til somebody tries it. I heard something about Bioshock. and words can't explain how much I love that game... there's many computer games from the 90's I'd like to see. Blake Stone, Return to Zork, Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, Commander Keen...
Military Madness Anybody remember "Military Madness"? I believe it was also known as "Nectaris". I must have put a thousand hours into that on my trusty old Turbografx 16 back in the day. It's fairly similar to Advance Wars on the GBA/DS but even more fun IMO. Also, anything along the lines of Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, Warsong (Remember that on Sega Genesis?) or pretty much anything being put out by Atlus these days. These would all be perfect choices for to port to the iPhone. BTW - I fully agree with NJPodder about the Lunar series. I think they did a fantastic job porting Vay - I really hope they are making enough cash to make other ports worth their while.
Military Madness was added to the Wii Console, it twas much fun and would make for a good port, but I do believe nintendo owns some of the rights to it, so good luck with that i would like to see Archon {i believe EA owns the rights to that now} and a Command and Conquer Style Game, RTS [again, Westwood via EA] i heard worms is being ported, that will be fun and some good Risk Style Games would be addicting
Generally I don't enjoy console ports on iOS. I'd love to play Elite Beat Agents again, though, or finally get to play Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!
It probably would work pretty well. Monument Valley does the rotating levels/shifting perspective perfectly so it can work Also I think this topic got moved to the wrong section
The old redlynx trials games from before smart phones when they were java games, Other than that the App Store has pretty much everything I want. Oh cannon fodder would be cool.
So, so many... Marvel Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Legends 2, Assassin's Creed (a proper one), Star Wars KOTOR 2/Battlefront 2, Hitman Blood Money... but if I could only pick one, I'd say GoldenEye. Goddamn, was that a fun game!
Too many but I'm playing them all now thanks to iOS 7 JB. But IF they ever launch... I will ditch the ROMs and buy the apps!
