I remember that one now! I did his target combo, which is a lose-lose in that situation, because if I did P-K-P and stopped you would teleport away and I wouldn't have the damage I needed lol, but if I upkick after it, I'm going to eat the ultra but get the damage. So.. I just upkicked and saw it coming. Then you super'd and I started flipping out. That ultra was basically me having no options. If I blocked the kick, you'd recover and teleport away. If I attacked, there would be a chance I would miss and you'd hit me instead or we would trade. Don't want to risk the upkick. You're going to low kick me when you land anyway. So, I did the best desperation I could do... MASH THAT ULTRA. I guess you were at perfect range, because there have been many times where I would ultra... only to see Yun fly 2 feet PAST my opponent and keep flailing like an idiot yelling "Get ready!". That was a duel panic situation lol. You can tell we know each others habits, because when you got a full super bar, you knew that I know you had that super ready. You also knew I wanted to get in as best as I could without eating it. So we're both just at a deadlock trying to get the other to mess up. You trying to space me so I eat the super. Me trying to avoid the super and get in, and possibly activating my own super.
It's crazy how far ahead you think! And you are doing it all in an instant. I think maybe one step ahead.
Random DJ stuff Jackknife maximum (Aa, 1 hit, corner) can be followed by ultra, jackknife maximum and alot of his juggling specials. Ch heavy punch (back + p) can be followed up by all of DJs attacks except for cr jab. This includes all his jumping attacks. This could make a cute reset
You can actually equip three gems. There are boost gems and assist gems. The latter is extremely cheap. CH heavy punch, walk cr. jab works for me. Can't get 1 hit jknife max to ultra work. That was on dj though.
What is your combo? Mine is Jump fierce, standing roundhouse, crouch fierce, EX tatsu, shoryuken (2hits), FADC, air EX tatsu. 16 hits

As long as it's not a grab ultra, any character can combo into their ultra from (a) certain jump attack(s). Oh, and it also has to not be a counter ultra.
Jumping p, ultra Jumping k (ch), ultra Both connect. You need to be careful that your air attack has enough hitstun. Cody is an example oh this. Chun's jumping lk and deejays kee shot won't work either
