I am just wondering what everyone is spending on an average each month on idevice games ? Lately I am spending about $100.00 a month (the last 2-3 months) and I have to tone it down a bit. It's hard because I love to try every interesting looking game and the prices are cheap so I always buy it. It seems like there are games that I want to buy every day and everytime I log in to the TA forums there is something new. Darn you TA Purchases of .99 , 1.99, 2.99 etc....really add up !! I have to say that I am having alot of fun but I just have to be a little pickier when buying. I will probably just keep buying everything that appeals to me until I run out of money or my wife throws my iphone in the toilet Actually she loves the games as well so it's even harder, but I must confess I do 95% of the buying. help !! ...............lol A reasonable amout of money for me to spend would be around $50.00/month (I don't spend money on for any other systems)
Dang, thats a lot. I spend depending on how much money I have at the moment. Usually like id say no more than 20 bucks per month.
Way to much! I still think the bang for the buck is pretty awesome for games in the App Store at the moment, especially if you can be patient and wait for sales/freeappaday/etc.
I'm pretty picky and frugal about what games I get. I almost always wait for sales. Though it does depend on what games are being released. Usually I only spend a few dollars a month, unless I get several or a pricier game.
Overall I spend $9.25 a month, but since November I have gone crazy spending at $18.25 a month. Gotta cut down
I think my average is about $12 every month, at least for the past few months. Most of the games I bought were on sale.
Actually that sounds like me. The last 2 months were above average. It's still not that much compared to buying a 1 or 2 xbox ,ps3 or wii games every month.
About $15 or so. I only buy stuff that really grabs my attention. I've been getting back into my 360 though, renting a couple games every 3-4 weeks online, though, which might have something to do with it. The $20 I'm sure does
i spend about $15, and if the op is spending that much a month, I don't see why he doesn't jailbreak. I guess he is against piracy which is always good. I actually have considered jailbreaking in the past since I have not gotten my allowance for 2 months because of my appstore purchases. But I don't want a tethered jailbreak so I guess I will keep supporting devs by buying apps.
First of all, I am only buying games for my iphone right now so that's the only money I spend on games. Secondly, people who download these games for free piss me off. Maybe if they went to work for 3-6 months and their boss told them "sorry I am not paying you", they would think twice taking (stealing) using and enjoying someones work for FREE. Also, the cost for the games for me is offset by my phone plan because I have an iphone without data and a very old plan that costs only $20.00 a month all included. Many people spend $80.00-100.00 an month on iphone plans. I love the games and want to support the devs and when gaming is your hobby, all things considered it's not that much money. When I was into console gaming I would buy 1-2 games a month typically. It all depends what you can afford of course.
Between $10 and $15. I'm at $6 for this month and already have 4 more dollars accounted for. Then I'll wait to see what March brings.
