    Hello all,

Just wanted to let you all know that the lite version of Arrr! Pirates vs. Aliens has been submitted to Apple for review, and barring any problems should be up in the App store in a few days.

The lite version is free and contains one level and two weapons from the full game.

No, you didn't miss it. :) We're releasing a lite version first.

Drag in the bottom left corner of the screen to move the crosshairs. Tap/hold down on the bottom right of the screen to fire. Tap on the weapon in the middle to switch weapons.

    OK

I trust the Aliens fight back (the orbs they emit?), and the ship takes damage? Some aliens don't seem to fight at all, just move across the screen.

Their behavior is randomized a bit. Sometimes the runners will just zip across the screen, but most of the time they'll take a few potshots on the way.

Looks fun - any price point for the Full Version? # of levels?

Glad you didn't call it "iArrr! P-iRATES vs. AL-iENS" :D

I think I would have died inside if we decided to call it that. :)

No word on a full price point yet. The game will be three zones total, each zone being divided into three levels and a boss fight. Your progress is saved at the end of each level. Each level takes about 3 minutes to get through, with the boss fight varying depending on how good your aim is. :)

In the OP I used the wrong term... the lite version is the first zone of the game, not just the first level.
