I may throw my two cents in this month with this game. I've been looking to finish up my fanfic about ff v so I may post some of those to the forum if I start up this game at some point, and follow my playthrough with a small fanfic.
How long does it take to get to the Wind Shrine? Just wondering when I should start if I want to be there when the Fiesta starts.
About an hour in I want to say I did grinding every chance I got too and took it slow But it's not too far in
Thanks. I guess I could do some grinding before the Fiesta starts but that might take some of the fun out of it.
Agree with you on that I did it but I can see where that makes sense for sure I'm grinding outside Carwen right now
Yeah it is! I've definitely got over 30 hours on multiple mobile and console FFs right now! No wonder it takes me years to finish games. I'm already 2.5 hours into V. Since it's my first playthrough, I'm going to just pick my own jobs. Probably make sure a Ranger learns Ninja first and then spams attacks like crazy!
I just hit the 300 enemies killed mark I'm about 3 and a half hours in still hanging out at Carwen so I'm grinding and taking it slow but now I'm about to move on I started lenna as a blue mage for that built up switched her to white mage and now she can use both white and blue which is nice Love the blue mage in this game and usuing special attacks gained from enemies
Riding the dragon now after beating Magrissa really easily never got to see Forza Need to go back at some point and get the flash for my blue mage but that's all To get it cast an ether at the Headstone enemy but I never even saw one Also my black mage can be a blue mage with black magic ability My white mage has blue magic ability
I like it so far. It has a humor and heart that a lot of other Final fantasy games don't have. I am upset you earn ABP sooooooo slowly.
I'm very happy this game was chosen ^^ I have been in moid for FF! Now I'm just playing DQIV like crazy wrapping up some loose ends and trying to finish it quickly. My sister will play too, but she's seldom active at forums
Yeah I get that it's just weird for me to spend so long on a game on my iPad...2 hours in and just flying the dragon. The whole job thing seems a bit scary since I have no clue what I'm doing.
I've played almost all the FF games, and I'm still overwhelmed by the ones where you have to learn/change so many jobs. Personally, I just like leveling up a team of defined characters, which is probably why I identify with Dragon Quest so much. But I'm hoping with this playthrough I can tackle jobs with more confidence than I did FFIII.
Dammit. I'd love to get involved in this, but I made such a feeble effort on KotOR, I can't pretend I'll get anywhere on FFV. I'm going to play through KotOR before starting another RPG. My only consolation is that I at least had guessed FFV correctly from Shaun's clues - before being sidetracked into guessing it might be FF Tactics because of its 20th anniversary.
Just got the second set of jobs summoner time mage etc enjoying these for a change up It took forever even with two blue mages to score pond chorus but I got it and easily made it through the Walse Tower Really enjoying this one 5 hours 13 mins in yay
