Hi Pepper, An update is in the pipeline for The Haunt (1)...and under review with Apple. It will hopefully be out shortly...we estimate next week. The update will have HD graphics (4 times the current resolution) and a puzzle skip button option.
Great news about the update to the original. I have been waiting to buy it because of the lack of retina graphics which render such games an ugly mess most of the time. Nice to see a puzzle skip button as well.
The Haunt 1 update has a tiny bug associated with the skip button implementation through an update. If you want to use the skip button, you will need to download a NEW INSTALL of the game and start from the beginning. As a new install, the skip button works as advertised. We apologize for the inconvenience. A patch has been submitted to avoid this in the future.

THE HAUNT 2 PROGRESS UPDATE: The Haunt 2 is DONE!!! We have finished the game and have entered final testing. The game has already passed preliminary testing...so we hope to have all testing done this weekend. If all goes as planned...we will be submitting to the appstore for review VERY SOON!
