There was an HdO Adventure game before that really had the same atmosphere. I believe it was a game with a book that came with it or something. I think the icon was a gnome with a smoke pipe sitting on a rocking chair. The title i cant remember. EDIT: Tiny Bang Story. Had to look through my purchases
EP forgot the name of one of the 47 bazillion iOS games he's bought. It's a Dark Day on Touch Arcade. Totally different genre but if you want atmosphere check out Osmos - it's stunning.
Well my point and click recommendation would be The Silent Age Episode One. That's one of the best games I've played all year on any console; the sad part is that it's Free, no ads, no IAP.
