I thought Fargoal, Helsing's fire, and 'Dungeon raid' had TOO MUCH acclaim. The problem with Fargoal is that it's a 'high score' game. Not much fun in constantly dying, with no story progression. I generally hate starting anything over again. I can just do the dishes if I want tedious repetition. Same with 'dungeon raid'. It was fun for a couple days, and then I thought, 'That's it? Just try to beat my last score?' Reminds me of 1980 Atari titles that called 'replay value' 'beating your last score.' It's just boring. Didn't get the hype about 'helsing's fire' either. It was different, but not interesting enough beyond 10 levels of play. 'Tilt to live' also didn't last more than a half hour on my touch. Just too frantic for me. I play to relax, not have a heart attack. Solomon's keep was great. You progressed, and eventually FINISHED the game.
Fargoal's a high score game? I kinda thought the goal was to retrieve the Sword. Anyway if you don't like starting over, there's a SQUIRE mode for that.

Howdy all, first post here, long term reader appreciating the site and forums and all that ... Anyway, I registered because I couldn't let Stylish Sprint be ignored. On the face of it it's just another endless runner game but I liked the controls, the flow of the random levels, the customisation and just the sheer fun of playing it. I got it recently when it was free but it's easily worth a dollar. Sounds like I'm on the payroll but I'm not
lol, on what planet is Tilt To Live an "unknown" game? I love high score games. Personally, I think the classic high score challenge is the purest form of videogame challenge. As for unknown games that deserve more rec, I'd say Pocket Halfpipe, Mad Skills MX, Silverfish...
