We want lots of people to download and enjoy the game, and are afraid of the app getting lost in the app store, so we decided to make it free There are IAPs but they are certainly not necessary for advancing in the game. It's more for people who want to cheat and build up a huge tower within a short period of time.

Oh man! Looks like Simtower! I could get behind this. You guys should try distributing beta builds using http://www.testflightapp.com/. Makes it a bit easier.

Hoping the IAP isn't greedy- many developers promise it isn't then it turns out they are greedy after all. *cough* pocket legends *cough*
We had a great launch last week, lots of people are in the game building some amazing looking towers. The IAPs are for speeding up progress in the game mostly, you can play the game to its full extent without purchasing any IAPs.
