It has potential to be the most grossing RPG/action adventure and will most definitely nab a spot in the top 20 or so, but the appeal of this $6.99 game is more for the adolescent to mature crowd. I know I am definitely waiting for it and so are a ton of other people, but you mustn't forget the handful of people that are not die-hard RPG fans.. that being said, this game, as I've stated, has a ton of potential to be in the top of the AppStore.

That list would mean so much more if it weren't cut off at the point that Apple themselves put the list up.

If Apple would just release the top grossing app historical data, all the way back to the "opening" of the App Store, it would really tell us just how well devs have been doing.

And I voted 3rd option, btw.

It stands a chance at breaking the top 25, no doubt, but I really think it'll fall below that for several reasons, not the least of which will be the type of game it is and how it may be too "in depth" for the typical audience on this platform.

I hope it breaks the top 10 and proves me wrong though.

I think it'll be top 25 for sure! It's kinda sad to me that people are saying it might not do well because of the kind of game it is. It should sell even better because it's a hard core, long, graphically amazing game!
Instead, people are buying fart apps and simple games you play for a day. :(
It'll be a #1 app for me Josh and Russ! :D

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
It's gonna be huge when it finally comes out. Stupid Unity engine. Now we have to wait a whole two weeks... I'm holdin out on purchasing anything until this comes out. Even though I have 30 bucks left on iTunes. This is gonna be the best when it's out. Totally gonna replace the fact that I don't have Oblivion yet.

Maybe I should be making pig hunter videos instead of making games.

Doesn't Ted Nugent already have a show like that?

I know that this app won't haven the top grossing crown, due to the amount of casual 5 minute app players there are. However, I think it will be number one within the RPG category.

    Yes, he does.

By the way, I recently learned an interesting Texan expression, "Let's kick this pig." It's used the same way as "let's get the show on the road." Maybe you should make a pig kicking video. You'd be famous in Texas.

Remember that Hero of Sparta was #1 for a few weeks - and that is along the same lines as Ravensword. Adventure games do sell well.
Who am I to say though - its the luck of the App store! Anything goes!

it depends entirely on whether or not all the people from touch arcade, app gamer and slide to play buy it on day 1 or not. this game will undoubtedly do very well, however, it may only do well for a short period, where it sells really well.
to be honest, there's no way for us to know. i voted top 25 at least.
