As far as late game management goes, well that's a problem with most 4x games. Speaking of which, I thibk it's high time to see how Alpha Centauri (w/expansion) runs on Win7. One of the most criminally overlooked (and deepest) strategy games ever. Kickin' soundtrack too. Dueler Well-Known Member Sep 22, 2012 45 0 0 #17 Dueler, Feb 18, 2013 Spent about 3 hours on the game. The only time the games felt balanced is with 1-3 AI, with any more then that they just swarm like crazy and nothing i can do seems to keep up with there rate of advancment. Hell ive started numourous games out by immediately colonizing 3-4 surrounding planets and having all mass produce frigates, destroyers and cruisers and still manage to get swarmed. Like one person said sometimes they just wait around and do nothing, thats pretty much the only time you have a chance in this game when playing with more then 3 AI. All that being said im still enjoying the game, it is pretty much my first 4X game. This one is probably the deepest, in my opinion. If your doing that well and this is your first, your doing well. I don't this I would have been able to handle it.
