    Hi,

Got an Ipad2 32gb wifi for my bday this week, loving it but right now I'm hunting for a space strategy game.

Something like the old game K240 would be excellent, or if you don't know that, I'm looking for a space game with exploration, combat and building.

Spotted Imperium Galactica II but its rather pricey and as theres no lite version to try, I'm skipping it for now.

    any ideas? thanks!

Amoebattles in an excellent RTS and probably a great option for someone not well versed with the genre. Very approachable and polished, great presentation, etc. Well worth the asking price.

Thanks but that's a little pricey with no lite 'trial' version either.

I'm thinking of getting another Cave shooter before their sale ends today. I already own EspII and Bug Princess. What is the next best choice?

Either of the Dodonpachi games, they are both excellent.

    (I'd recommend Resurrection though)

Bug princess 2 depending on how much u liked the first one(notice u wanted a sale so I dunno...)I guess if u liked ESP 2 then go with ddp:r, if ur looking for something from cave thats a bit different try Deathsmiles or Bug Panic...

I need a challenging and intriguing RPG.

Ever since I started playing Dark souls last fall I haven't been able to enjoy any other game, I used to play a lot on iOS but can't find anything that's fun.

I want a game on iOS that have these thing:

1: challenging, I want it to be challenging in the right way, i don't want enemies that I need to hit 1000000 times and appear every 10 sec, I want challenging not cheap.

An example of decent challenge on iOS : inotia 2, great game over all, monster died pretty quickly but also did massive dmg to you, forcing you to micro manage. Another.

Second example of good challenge: Mage Gauntlet, a bit on the easy side, but still fun, to light on the rpg side tough, extremely linear.

An example of bad challenge on ios: Crimsonheart, enemies took 10-15 hits to down and just never ended.

2: exploration: I want to explore and find secrets

3: non linear: the game can't be linear, not when it comes to story or quests, and not when it comes to loot. Loot

4: random loot, or at least semi random where materials drop randomly and you upgrade equipment instead

5: did I say challenging? I want the game to be hard.

Games that come to mind that I have already tried are:

    Crimsonheart
Mage gauntlet - great pacing and decent challenge in some stages
    Inotia 1. 2 & 3 - inotia 2 is probably my favorite iOS game
    Zenonia games1-4
    Devil dark
    Blade of darkness
    Dungeon hunter 1-3
    Aralon - great game
    Chaos rings 1&2
    Exitium
    Eternal legacy
    Destinia
    Across age
    Infinity blade 1&2
Swordigo - got 100% completion, great game, way to shallow tough

If anyone can help me find a game that fits this description as much as possible, it will be greatly appreciated, I've lost my iOS gaming hunger.

The quote "Dark souls ruined gaming" really is true, for once the game doesn't hold your hand.

    Thanks in advance

Which ones to get? $3.82 credits left.

    Gunman Clive
    Prince of Persia Classic
Hero Mages(never played D&D and the dice thing seems dull)
    On The Wind
Rinth Island(probably too hard for me)
    MotoHeroz

Edit: Add SpellTower to the list of which ones to get. :p

:D There's nothing that's going to come even close to Dark Souls. My advice: go play Demon's Souls before they take it offline. You have about three weeks left, I believe. Trust me, it's the only thing that will satiate the thirst you now have.

I was afraid of that :(
So no hidden gems on the iOS? I'll cope with a turn based combat system as long as the other things are there.

But good to hear I'm not alone in trying to quench my thirst ;)

Thankfully I still haven't gotten 1000/1000 in dark souls, and I'm working on that right now, but I want something to play on the subway and buss.
