I'm mostly just curious if the hack-n-slash combat has any significant element of skill (manual aiming/evasion/parrying/blocking, weight of positioning, tactical use of environment, or even just tactical use of abilities, Battleheart Legacy-style) to it. Classical Diablo-style combat mechanics lose their slippery grip of my attention in minutes. Indeed what you read on Google Play is true - we are very attentive to our users wishes, and work to create the best game we possibly can. That being said, we are working on a patch to bring arm64 support to Daggervale on iOS and are hoping to have that released within the week. This will greatly improve performance on devices, we're also introducing many bug fixes that we're hoping will fix the crashing issues a lot of people have been facing. If you have any doubt at all, we have made a limited, free version of Daggervale available for you to try out: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/daggervale-free/id868363178?ls=1&mt=8 And as always, if you guys wish to ask any questions, or have any problems - please let us know: [email protected] Best Regards, Tyler Olsen Customer Support - Concept Softworks Amenbrother Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2011 6,659 7 38 #8 Amenbrother, Feb 3, 2015 Is there more than 1 class? ConceptSoftworks Member Feb 3, 2015 9 0 0 Game Developer Tucson, Arizona #9 ConceptSoftworks, Feb 3, 2015 Daggervale does not actually have a class system in place - we give players access to each stat and let them build a class that is unique to how they wish to play. Want to be a tank with insane amounts of HP? You can. Want to be a battlemage that can swing as sword as well as cast spells? You can. How you play, is entirely up to you! strivemind Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 2,784 2 38 Designer Ottawa, Canada http://www.strivemind.com/ #10 strivemind, Feb 3, 2015 Free version not actually released? We still have many things we plan to add - and hope to add more varied mob types (we added the healer and mana-draining mob not long ago.) And in the patch that we'll be sending to Apple this week will introduce a revamped particle system that should make the game seem more 'alive' here is a sneek peek: (notice the fire particles on my sword - which has a fire and shock bonus (it's kinda hard to see the shock effect) on it) Furthermore, these weapons, when used on mobs will apply elemental damage on them in a way that is more clear than our previous method (we simply added it to the total damage) and will now show them on fire, as well as independent damage numbers for each second (total elemental damage bonus spread over 3-5 seconds) You'll also notice we've made significant changes to the action bar - it's now nested conveniently near the other controls as opposed to the bottom of the screen. And of course, various other changes and fixes - more on that coming in a few days with our patch notes terrence92 Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2013 204 0 16 #16 terrence92, Feb 4, 2015 Awesome!
