Ok so I was hoping someone had discovered an easy to control game that you can play on the elliptical or MAYBE walking on the treadmill (I say maybe cuz its hard enough for ME to stay on the treadmill never mind me playing a game on the treadmill - elliptical better chance). Figured some out for the bike but you can do usually anything on the bike (read, etc). Just wondering if this is a pointless search.
Hmm true - I (as probably everyone) have a few of them on my device. Tried Adubble and that was a horror show, obviously none of the TD games game work, but yeah a one hander might do the trick. Maybe Scoops or Sky Burger?
I would say iBlast Moki when it comes out, since you do everything, then press the blast button, and there's no accelerometer in-game. Perfect type of game for the gym, and anywhere else.
I can see me now - vaulted off the treadmill across the gym but still going for the global high score!!!!! Excellent point!
I would say just work out and play games later :S Why would you need to workout and play with your ipod at the same time Am I missing something, I couldn't see someone running/using an elliptical trying to play a game.
Well it was a thought. People read and watch TV and listen to music so why not play a game to pass the time?
Ion Charge was designed with one-handed gaming in mind. Seems that Str8ts or any Sudoku game would work as well.
Puzzle Quest or UniWar from the sounds of what you want to do. They're pretty easy to play anywhere and still be able to bike/run as far as I can tell. Then again, I don't work out and play video games at the same time. Ok i just don't work out. lol
There are trivia, card, dice, casino, spot the difference, find the object type games that could work.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Going to try some out. Might be just a one day experiment but heck its a fun thing to think about. Looking for a game that doesn't have too complicated controls, easily seen graphics, and a simple but enthralling concept to make a half hour go by without thinking about the cardio machine. I think some of these might work! We will see.
