We also have two examples games created using an alpha version of Sketch Nation 2 out in the app store.

We made them both free for a limited time so you guys can check them out and see for yourself what can be done with SN2:

Enjoy this great dose of spook for Halloween! Jump your way up the haunted castle and collect costumes as power ups. Pick up a bunny costume to jump higher, or a pirate costume to fight the bats and the grim reaper.

Pick up a trick or treat bag and get into the spooky store where you can buy powerups.

From the genius minds of Sketch Nation Shooter, Spooky Jump was created using the tools and engine of the next game in the Sketch Nation series, Sketch Nation 2 (coming soon). This game will allow users to not only create their own games, but also create their own app, sell it on the app store and share the art assets with their friends.

Spooky Jump is UNIVERSAL and HD and it is one of the first jumping game designed for the iPad!

Enjoy this addictive, fun game for only 0.99$.

Stay tuned for Sketch Nation 2 that will revolutionize the app store by allowing anyone to create and sell games on all iOS devices!

Spooky Jump includes a leaderboard and news feed that let you know what your Facebook or GameCenter friends are up to. Now you can finally see how good you are at jumping around in costumes compared to your Game Center or Facebook friends!

Have you always dreamed about having you own app and selling it on the app store? Soon enough you will be able to do just that and get some money too!!!

This game is not only awesome by itself it also shows you what you will be able to create with our new upcoming engine, SKETCH NATION 2!!!

Thanksgiving may be over but people still like their turkey sandwiches!!! Help this poor turkey run away from the deadly cleaver, the malicious salt and pepper shakers and avoid many more enemies by simply jumping from table to table.

You can play this game for hours on end (if you succeed) and check out what your friends are up to in the NEWS FEED and LEADERBOARDS.

Turkey Run is another game from the outrageously awesome minds that made SKETCH NATION SHOOTER and was created entirely using a pre-alpha version of SKETCH NATION 2 (coming soon to the app store).

Just think how awesome it would be to see your drawings come to life and have a real game in the app store for sale where people all over the world could play!

in your video it says you can sell your games on the app store. for free or for money and would you get itunes credit from it? Also how in the world would apple ever let that happen?

Epic! Looks a lot more simpler and fun than the original and adds many more genres of games you can create.

You will get money for it. We will sell it under Engineous Games and give you 50% of the profit, assuming it meets Apple's requirements and a quality bar we will set. SN2 will be the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to make games for all iOS devices. The games will be automatically universal and HD regardless of the device you create them on.

As for Apple, We talked briefly with them and determined that this will not be a problem. Apple does not care who develops the games. As long as it fits Apple's requirements, it will be no different than if we hired some off-shore team to create an App.

Donovan - Making games with SN2 is a lot simpler than with SNS. Once you upload your art and pick the parameters, SN2 will automatically build a fun, challenging game for you. There are lots of parameters so users will be able to create their own unique games and have lots of controls on how they play. At first there will be about 8 different genres (of the platforming / flying type) but we will add additional features and genres as we go along. For example, soon after launch we plan on adding weapons.

  9. This concept sounds very ambitious. Just curious - how exactly will the process work? Will we still need a Mac (as the iOS SDK requires)?

All you will need is a copy of Sketch Nation 2 and your imagination.

To make a stand alone game, you will need to add an icon and a logo to the (preferably high quality) game you create with SN2. Once the game is uploaded to our servers and approved by us, we will copy your game data to a new project and submit it to Apple.

You will also need to sign a contract with us, give us an address where you want payment sent, etc...

If I wanted my SN2 game to be a free app, is this possible?

Most likely yes, although we will need to make it ad supported to cover our costs.

    Hi Guys,

Sketch Nation 2 is definitely not gone. We are working super hard on finishing it... it's just taking a little ( a lot? ) longer than we expected.

I promise its going to be awesome when it comes out.
