Thx kapshin and sirrozha, I actually just checked the video myself and saw the option menu with the tilt controls... nice nice... can't wait to play it!
I am awaiting this game, while my two new snakes should arive an minute, playing Dirt 3, and chewing some surprisingly tasty rootbeer flavored gum. GOOD STUFF RIGHT THERE
Here's hoping iPhone 5 optimization doesn't take long for SEGA to implement - would be nice to fill out that screen!
From what I remember (please correct me if I'm wrong), it's one large map with distinct sections. The start is pretty hilly near the coast which then takes you to some more rural areas and finally to a larger city. It's not really a free roam game, so there is a progression that takes you through these areas based on the passengers you pick up. I wonder if the KFC is still in the game?
After Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing, I kinda just trust SEGA to do good iOS ports in general. And driving a cab while listening to BR tracks... there is some strange, perverted kinda appeal in that...
People need to play these types of games the right way. This is an arcade quarter muncher through and through. Its designed to take your money. When playing it you need to pretend you have 2 quarters left in your pocket and its a week till you get your allowance. You are supposed to do the best you can for 15 or 20 minutes and then move on to the next machine. The size of the "world" is perfect for that sort of play. You're not supposed to spend hours driving around the city exploring. Thats not what the game is about...
Description says you can listen to music from your own playlist. I also recall reading somewhere that this game has the original map plus a bonus map that was in the home version. Don't quote me on the last part as I can't find the reference and never owned this game before to know what it is referring to.
